Hello! My name is Kevin Chang, and I’m a Software Developer living in Houston who loves to tinker and build web applications to “hack” life with automation and computer aid.
I graduated from Texas A&M University with a completely unrelated degree and relied on online courses, and self-taught methods to get where I am now. Personal projects and the ability to translate ideas into code have helped me get introduced into coding in a professional environment, first as a contractor on a R&D Server’s Software team at HPE, working on RESTful/Redfish API, and now spearheading the client software division at InteractiveTel, managing logistics, server builds, software maintenance and upgrades, as well as phone system integration.
Recently, I’ve been utilizing the Google certifications I’ve learned, applying Google analytics tracking to many of my websites, including this portfolio, as well as slickertickers and the Imperial Assault web app. I find that application of new skills only improves retention rate, as well as being an interesting venue to pursue.
